The green mamba is one of the most venomous snakes in the world.

2014 Canadian Reptile Breeders Expo.

One bite from one green mamba has enough neurotoxins to kill dozens of people — yet it is still milder than the venom of the green mamba’s cousin the black mamba.

Green mambas are arboreal snakes from South-East Africa where they dwell in tropical rain forests.

Green mambas have a brilliant green color and some people do keep them in captivity as pets in spite of the fact that a single bite from a green mamba can kill not just one but dozens of humans. Beautiful as they are, green mambas are deadly. I am sure the law permits it and I am not for a nanny state, I just hope that it is not one of my neighbors who decides to keep such pet. Really you have to be seriously confident in your ability to handle a green mamba, or perhaps just criminally insane, to decide to keep one as a pet, regardless how pretty it looks.
